OTERO COUNTY QUEEN'S PAGEANT

Designed to promote greater public understanding, awareness and interest in agriculture, the Otero County Fair Queen Program, creates a unique opportunity to promote our fair, as well as encourage personal and professional growth, and development. The Fair Queen Program provides each participant with the ability to build and enhance confidence in her abilities, poise in her presentations, pride in her accomplishments, skills in communication, knowledge of the fair industry and sportsmanship in accepting success or defeat gracefully.

HOW DO I ENTER?

Contestants must submit their completed application, $50.00, and an 8″x10″ study style portrait to be eligible to compete.

DOES ATTENDANCE MATTER?

Attendance records will be kept on each contestant’s participation in the scheduled clinics, and activities. The record will be given to the judges whose discretion will decide how much weight the contestant’s participation will count toward her total score.

ARE DUSTY DIAMOND CONTESTANTS SCORED IN EACH DIVISION?

Dusty Diamond Contestants are not scored in each division, this pageant category is a mentorship program for this age category only.
