Otero County Fair and Rodeo is a non-profit organization based in Alamogordo, NM. The Otero County Fair is the largest attended event in Otero County annually. With a facility that is 21 acres in size, there are a myriad of things you can do within our fair. Our fair is proudly free of gate charge! Rides, food, etc.. may be an additional charge.
We’re celebrating 76 years of rodeo tradition with 777 Rodeo Company as our stock contractor and the remarkable Rodeo Announcer Extraordinaire Kyle Tom, keeping the crowd updated as the action unfolds.
Get ready for heart-pounding action from the best in the West! From rough stock events to fast-paced timed competitions, you’ll see:
Lightning-fast barrel racing
Intense bull riding
Skillful bronc riding
Tie-down roping & steer roping artistry
This is one event you won’t want to miss — bring the whole family and experience the thrill of the rodeo!
We have several pageant shows that are designed to promote interest in agriculture and showcase the skills, knowledge, and confidence of each participant.
