Otero County Fair and Rodeo is a non-profit organization based in Alamogordo, NM. The Otero County Fair is the largest attended event in Otero County annually. With a facility that is 21 acres in size, there are a myriad of things you can do within our fair. Our fair is proudly free of gate charge! Rides, food, etc.. may be an additional charge.
Join us in celebrating our 75th Otero County Rodeo showcasing Baca Rodeo Company as our stock contractor, Scooter Smith- Rodeo Clown Extraordinaire, and our amazing contestants competing in events from rough stock to timed events. You will enjoy super fast barrel racers, calf tie-down and steer roping, the artistry in bronc riding, and the dangers of bull riding in this action-packed event.
We have several pageant shows that are designed to promote interest in agriculture and showcase the skills, knowledge, and confidence of each participant.
